What is Wastewater Treatment?
Wastewater Treatment is part of the process found in Waste Water Treatment Plants or WWTP. It’s typically the sludge and other solids extracted from raw sewage which is then broken down into an effluent and then returned to the water cycle with little environmental issues or it is reused. The latter is called water reclamation and implies avoidance of disposal by use of treated wastewater effluent for various purposes. Treatment means removing impurities from water being treated. Some methods of treatment are applicable to both water and wastewater.
